I have extensive experience teaching guitar technique. Whether your looking to upgrade your ability to improvise or just trying to improve your basic skills, I know how to help musicians of different skills and abilities.
Performing live with a band isn't as simple as walking on stage. There is a lot more to playing with a group in front of an audience than just being able to play an instrument. I have taught ensemble to hundreds of students over the years and can draw up countless live performances to help you develop your skills.
Recording in the studio requires a completely different set of skills than playing live. It's critical that you understand the recording process, terminology and techniques that a producer will expect you to have when you walk in to the studio.
I have countless hours of studio time with world class artists and producers.
I work with students every day. I help them learn basic foundational skills, music theory, song structure and playing technique.
Strum patterns and finger picking technique, major scales and diatonic modes, chromatic scales, chords and arpeggios, improv techniques.
Whether your looking to learn a new instrument or improve your skills, I can help you take it to the next level.
With my years of professional experience I can help students expand their skills in recording, be a multi-instrumentalist, work with gear (amplifiers, pedals, etc.) to develop your sound.
Are you a guitar freak who doesn't plan to be a professional musician or you just want the ability to play guitar with friends?
I frequently work with students who want to learn simply for their own pleasure. I can help you develop foundational skills, understand the instrument, learn basic improv skills and learn to play with others.
